The correct answer is - glacial erosion and sea level rise.
The glaciers make U shaped valleys as they move downwards. When they come to the sea they melt (if the sea is not frozen as well). So once the whole glacier starts to melt it leaves behind a U shaped valley, and when the last ice age finished they did melt, but also the sea level rose, so the sea filled the U shaped valleys left by the glaciers, thus the fjords formed.

Which winds stir up powerful storms in south asia that release vast amounts of rain and cause severe flooding?
Solution 1
The powerful storms that release enormous amounts of rain in South Asia are called monsoons. They appear every year, and they have both wet and dry period. From place to place the length of the monsoon and the amount of rain differ. It is recognizable for producing the biggest rainfalls on the planet, that also causes lots of flooding's and landslides, and lots of people every year lose their lives and homes.
Question
What would happen to the seasons if earth were tilted 35 degrees off its orbital plane instead of the usual 23.5 degrees?
Solution 1
If the planet was tilted by 35 degrees instead of the 23,5 degrees that is now, the seasons will still exist, they will not stop existing totally, but the winters and summers will be much more extreme, the temperatures in summer will go very high, and in winter will be very low, also these two periods will be prolonged
Solution 2

Question Options:

A) The seasons would disappear.

B) Winters and summers would be more severe.

C) Winters and summers would be less severe.

D) The seasons would be shorter.

Answer: B) Winters and summers would be more severe.

Explanation: It is general knowledge that the current tilt of the earth is around 23.5 degrees. A tilt will significantly affect the current climate. The winters would be colder and summers would be hotter. This is because the temperature gradient between the equatorial centre and the pole would be more extreme this would increase wind speeds.

Question
What are some things that the government is doing to help damaged ecosystems?
Solution 1
There are many things that the government has done and is still doing in the aspect of environment conservation. The most that they do is implementing stricter laws for environmental protection like the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Toxic Substance Control Act, and many more. This is to ensure that the inhabitants of our environment can enjoy a safe and healthy living. For damaged ecosystems, the government is actively supporting projects about the revitalization of wastelands and coral reefs by shelling out generous amounts of money. Apart from this, they also conduct their own projects of tree-plantings and clean-up drives. The government also helps the ecosystems that are aggravated because of industrialization projects coming from both private and public sectors through arbitrary actions.
Question
What danger is there when hail diminishes or stops entirely?
Solution 1

Answer:

The danger of the possibility of a tornado arises when hail diminishes or stops entirely.

Explanation:

  • When there an updrafting of supercells of thunderstorms, hail is most likely to take place. It is observed many times that a tornado follows a hail.
  • Especially when the hail diminishes or stops entirely all of a sudden after hailing for a short period of time.
  • This happens because a tornado and a hail are both generated through a similar process called the updraft.
Solution 2
Hail often diminishes or ceases right before the arrival of a tornado.

Question
What evidence can you cite that the universe is flat?
Solution 1

The evidence that the universe is flat is the tiny variations in cosmic backgrounds. The universe is flat, the universe is simply connected with the edges aren't glued together as in a torus and the universe contains finite mass and energy.

Solution 2

Answer:

The possibility of the universe expanding and thus being infinite can be cited as evidence that the universe is flat because an infinite plane is believed to have zero curvature.

Explanation:

  • If an expanding object is given a curve in its course of expansion, it eventually ends up meeting itself at some point or the other.
  • If something is believed to be 'ever-expanding', it can be broadly concluded that it has no curvature at all.
Question
What are the names of the large three peninsulas that extend off of europe?
Solution 1

Answer:

The three large peninsulas extending off of Europe are the Iberian Peninsula, Italian Peninsula, and the Balkan Peninsula.

Explanation:

  • The Europe continent is a 'peninsula of peninsulas'. Which means a bigger piece of land covered by 'water on three sides' and is constituted by smaller pieces of land which are also covered by 'water on three sides'.
  • It is a peninsular landmass that is made up of other subsidiary peninsulas stretching out of the main peninsula.
  • The European continent is covered by water on three sides both on the northern front and the southern front.
  • It is covered by water on almost all the sides but is still connected to a larger piece of land.
  • The three of the major peninsulas in Europe are the 'Iberian Peninsula', 'the Balkan Peninsula' and 'the Italian Peninsula' which are all on the southern side of the European continent.
Solution 2
The Iberian peninsula , the Italian peninsula & the Balkan Peninsula
